There’s no other city as vibrant and lively as New York City, that’s why in the span of just 2 years I have visited NYC 3 times. In July 2014 I made my very first trip to New York followed by another visit June 2015 and again November of 2015. In any season, New York has so much to offer, see and do.
New York has so many places to choose from when it comes to food. It’s a foody’s paradise. If you are budgeting you can easily get a pizza at the local pizzeria for less than $5 USD or if you are in the mood to splurge there is no shortage of Michelin star restaurants.
The obvious choices are Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum, 5th Avenue, but don’t miss the pockets of neighbourhoods where charming brownstone homes line the avenues.
5th Avenue obviously is a shoppers dream. Don’t miss the big department stores like Macy’s, Century 21, Bloomingdales. They are a sight even if you are not shopping.
The Waldorf Astoria is probably the fanciest if you are willing to drop some heavy dough. But being New York you have an abundance of hotels to choose from. Beware because it is New York prices for even a 3 star hotel can cost you well over $150 USD a night. Book far in advance and try to plan your visit away from holidays and peak seasons like summer.
